Sweet Dreams: Searching for Roy Buchanan is a time-traveling, fantasy, young adult novel set in Tokyo. This series has great potential and will accrue a contemporary following. We have the initial manga art to peruse as well and have an artist working on more.

Life is not easy for Aki Sato and her brothers.  In the wake of their parents’ sudden deaths, the three teenagers are doing their best to carry on the family business and look out for one another.

Aki has an additional burden to bear: the Amida Syndrome; inherited from her mother, Aki has the power to travel through time and space, but she does not know how to use it.

A chance meeting with a former blues musician changes their lives forever.  Through the power of the Amida, Aki takes her brothers on a sometimes-misguided trip into the past to hear and see the masters of the blues, big names and complete unknowns as they make the music their own.

From the Mississippi Delta, to London and New York City of the 1960’s, Aki and her brothers discover what has held them together through the difficult times, and learn, as well, music’s power to heal.
