It would seem that Speaker to Lab Animals, as most people in fandom know him, has been jonesing for my newest books. He gives a wonderful three-fer review (of Extraction Point! with my terrific writing mentor Travis S. Taylor; The Case of the Displaced Detective: The Arrival, and The Case of the Displaced Detective: At Speed) in his blog, “Teddy’s Rat Lab.”

What he doesn’t mention is that the airline flight companion with whom he discussed my books was familiar to him, but he didn’t place the guy until after he arrived at his destination and debarked. He’d been talking Displaced Detective to…actor Owen Wilson.

Have a look: http://teddysratlab.blogspot.com/2012/01/review-three-for-one-extraction-point.html

Hip-Hip-Hooray for Buzz! You nailed it! It is only what you make it to be. Yes, you have to be willing to grow with the ever-changing techno age or be the fish whose pond has been drained. Do not box yourself in or demand it to be what it cannot. Authors/writers have to wear many hats now; so does everyone else. I say embrace it. It makes you multi-functional and much more appealing.

This is great news!

Veiled Virtues by Jan Fischer-Wade has a release date of February 10, 2012! What a story this is.  Published by Muse-It-Up Publishing.

Born with a stigmata, unexpected bleeding from her hands and forehead…

Paige didn’t know that modern day English knights do exist and that she would need their protection.  But all of this changed in an internet café in Newbury, England when she saw the blood on her laptop…

Paige has just graduated from high school and taken on a summer house-sitting gig in England for a friend of her mother’s. Strange occurrences such as hearing voices, the house turning into a freezer, and random bleeding wounds, outward markings of stigmata, appear on Paige.  She is suddenly aware that things are happening more now that she is in Newbury – she sees bits of the future and is strangely affected by certain people and objects.  Her supernatural potential has made her a target for an evil faction in England, the Cerberus Brotherhood, who want her for their own devices.

She meets Nathaniel who is an eclectic shop keeper known for little but is speculated more about in this country township. He and his family, as members of the Rosetta Guard, are all too familiar with the sinister capabilities of the “Cerbs.”  As Nathaniel confides his family’s secrets in Paige, their love grows, as does the commitment of the Guard to Paige’s cause.

Fischer-Wade is working on the sequel, Latent Legacy, which is sure to dig deeper into the Rosetta Guard.

The sequel to Ghost On Black Mountain, The Barren Soul, is set to come out this fall.

Shelly, a black child who was born with a caul, can see and communicate with those who have died; some who have gone on to be with Jesus and some who have things left undone…

In Ghost On Black Mountain, Shelly befriends Nellie against all opposition. In The Barren Soul, she tells us the untold story of Black Mountain; one that not too many want to be known; one that even murder cannot silence.

Ann Hite is simply the most  humble, talented author of our day.

Congrats, Ann!
