1. Query: two paragraphs in the body of the e-mail.
- One paragraph describing the book.
- One paragraph describing the author’s publishing credits and background appropriate to the book.
2. One page, single-spaced synopsis, attached as a MS Word doc.
3. The first three chapters of the manuscript, attached as a MS Word doc.
4. Query must have complete contact information for the prospective client, including legal name as well as pen name.
5. Manuscript must be completed before submission. Do not send an incomplete work.
Manuscripts should be:
- Double-spaced.
- Times New Roman at 12 pt with one-inch margins.
- Must be on a Word doc as an attachment. Proof your submission, do Spell-Check, and re-read it yourself before submitting.
- DO NOT send complete manuscript unless requested.
Review of submission may take up to three months or longer. Prospective clients will be notified post-review. Complete manuscript will be requested and read before acceptance.
